A man has been charged after a 15-year-old girl was allegedly robbed and sexually assaulted near a train station in Sydney’s west on the weekend.
Police allege the man spoke to the teenager at Lidcombe Station on Sunday morning before they went to a nearby car park.
Police say the man then pulled out a knife and stole the teenage girl’s phone.
He then allegedly sexually assaulted the girl before she fled the car park.
After an extensive search, a 37-year-old man was arrested yesterday at a home in Newtown.
