Niger targets 3m children for measles rubella vaccination

The Niger State government has said it is targeting no fewer than 3 million children to receive the measles rubella vaccination in a campaign that started on Monday. The government’s Ministry of Primary Healthcare made this known during a media parley held in collaboration with the United Nations Children’s Fund, the World Health Organisation, and other development partners. At the parley, the Niger State governor, Mohammed Bago, revealed that there were areas in Nigeria with zero vaccination.
