February 22, 2024- A tragic incident occurred in Akure, Ondo State, where a socialite and petrol station owner, Sesan Adelabu (Emirates), reportedly macheted his wife, Mrs. Bolu Adelabu, to death. After the alleged murder, Sesan Adelabu committed suicide by drinking sniper, an insecticide substance. The incident took place at Alagbaka GRA in Akure metropolis. The police spokesperson confirmed the incident, stating that the Commissioner of Police has ordered the Homicide section of the State Criminal Investigation Department to take over the case. The couple was discovered with the husband lying lifeless in the toilet and the wife on the bed with multiple machete cuts on her head and face.
