San Antonio has highest failing school rate in Texas, per Children at Risk

San Antonio has a higher share of F-rated schools than any other region in Texas, according to newly released scores from the advocacy group Children at Risk. Only 52% of area schools received a passing score of a C or above on the nonprofit’s annual ranking system, compared to 65% statewide. The region had the highest fail rate in Texas, with 15% of schools receiving an F.
