A 25-year-old teacher, Omobolanle Micheal Olaniyi, was arraigned in Lagos on charges of sexually assaulting a 6-year-old student. The incident allegedly took place at Oliver Care Montessori School in Ogba, where he taught. Olaniyi was arrested on July 24, 2023, and faces charges of indecent treatment of a child and sexual assault by penetration.
