Willow Rolfe, 33, and Lee Hodges, 37, left their teaching careers behind in 2019 to embark on a global adventure in a 48-year-old campervan with their two rescue cats. Originally planning a one-year journey across the USA and Canada, they extended their trip after quickly traversing America and continued to Mexico. Their travels expanded to 15 countries, including experiences like hiking volcanoes in Guatemala and witnessing sea turtles in Costa Rica. Preferring experiences over material possessions, they restored their Volkswagen campervan named Ruby and rented out their house to fund their travels, embracing a life focused on exploration and adventure.
