Several public schools in Jefferson County will undergo start-time changes following the approval of a transportation plan by the board. The changes aim to streamline start times across the district, with schools set to fall into one of three time slots: 7:40 a.m., 8:40 a.m., or 9:40 a.m. This adjustment comes after the district experienced difficulties in ensuring students arrived on time, partly due to the nine different start times implemented this school year. While the specific time slots for each school have not been announced yet, around two dozen schools are confirmed to have their start and end times altered.
