Triathlon Zimbabwe plans to expand its school events to create a series, aiming to enhance the sport’s development by engaging more students. After successful events at Springvale in 2022 and Hellenic last season, attracting numerous schools, the national association hopes to introduce a third event. Triathlon Zimbabwe president Ross O’Donoghue emphasized that expanding to a full schools’ series will be crucial for the sport’s growth by involving more schools and children.
