February 15 2024- The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has initiated an investigation into the Evenflo Revolve360 car seat, along with other Revolve360 models like the Revolve360 EXTEND and Revolve360 Slim. These car seats, introduced in 2021, feature a rotating mechanism to facilitate getting the child in and out. The investigation primarily focuses on concerns related to the compliance of the installation method and detachable base of the Revolve360 car seat, excluding factors such as crash test safety and webbing. The NHTSA is addressing potential non-compliance issues specifically related to the installation process of the car seat.
