Private Equity Has Its Eyes on the Child-Care Industry

March 20 2024- Vermont passed significant legislation investing $125 million annually in its child-care system, expanding state assistance eligibility to 575 percent of the federal poverty level. This move is expected to benefit over 7,000 new families, support teacher recruitment and retention in day-care centers, and enhance capacity, including funding for nonstandard care hours.
