Nigerian Govt Announces Cut-Off Points for 2024 Admissions

< 1 min read

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and tertiary education stakeholders have set the National Minimum Tolerable UTME Score (NTMUS) for 2024 admissions into Nigerian universities at 140, and for polytechnics and colleges of education at 100. These benchmarks were unanimously agreed upon during the 2024 annual policy meeting on admissions held in Abuja. Institutions have the flexibility to set their own ‘cut-off’ points, which can exceed the agreed minimums, with some universities already setting higher scores such as 220 for Pan-Atlantic University.
