Daily Part-Time Programmes Illegal — JAMB

< 1 min read

Prof. Isiaq Oloyede, Registrar of the Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB), has criticized some Nigerian institutions offering daily part-time programs, calling them illegal. During a visit to the Ibadan Zonal Office, Oloyede addressed complaints against JAMB officials, asserting that many issues students face stem from their own actions rather than JAMB’s fault. He highlighted problems such as students seeking late admissions or requesting changes in their records after many years. Oloyede emphasized that JAMB is not involved in Higher National Diploma (HND) admissions and cannot convert part-time admissions to full-time status, criticizing institutions for mismanaging part-time program enrollments.
