< 1 min read

Fairdale High School celebrated its first-ever Athletic Hall of Fame induction on Sunday, recognizing the achievements of its notable alumni. Darrell Gaus, an alumnus and Hall of Fame Board Member, emphasized the importance of honoring the school’s great athletes who had previously gone unrecognized. The ceremony featured a banquet to celebrate the contributions of each inductee, which included professional athletes, all-state performers, and community legends, many of whom have made significant impacts as coaches and mentors. The inaugural class consists of 20 inductees, with graduates dating back to 1951, and nominees must have been out of school for at least 10 years.
