A mother in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was arrested after her 4-year-old son was hit by a car while wandering the streets following multiple escapes from their home. Shannon Moore, 28, was charged with improper supervision and child desertion. On Friday, officers were called about a child roaming Florida Boulevard but couldn’t locate him initially. Shortly after, a driver reported hitting the boy, who was found with a skull fracture, broken femur, and lacerations. He was taken to the hospital and was in stable condition.
