< 1 min read

Last week, a jury convicted 73-year-old Jack Joseph Ray Sr. of Arnaudville on multiple child sex abuse charges involving two young victims. The crimes, which occurred in 2022, resulted in Ray being found guilty of two counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile, two counts of molestation of juveniles, two counts of sexual battery of a juvenile, and one count of aggravated crime against nature. District Attorney Chad Pitre acknowledged the difficulty of proving such cases but credited the collaborative efforts of various agencies including the Arnaudville Police Department, Hearts of Hope, and the Department of Family Services for achieving justice in this matter.
