I Built Digital Classrooms for 8,000 PLWDs in Anambra – Ubaka

Chief Godwin Ubaka Okeke, Chairman of GUO Motors Limited and co-founder of the Godwin and Patricia Okeke Foundation, recently inaugurated digital classrooms, dormitories, and vocational centers benefiting over 8,000 individuals with special needs at the Special School for the Deaf in Onitsha, Anambra State. These facilities, equipped with modern learning amenities, were established to provide a conducive environment for quality education. Chief Okeke emphasized his family’s commitment to supporting the less privileged and encouraged others in society, particularly the wealthy, to invest in people with disabilities. The initiative, part of celebrations for his 75th birthday and his wife’s 70th, underscores their ongoing efforts over the past decade to assist vulnerable populations both locally and beyond.
